The PCT program is an entry level program for high school or GED graduates to enter the field of patient care providing cross training of technical skills to perform patient care and more advanced techniques to care for hospital patients or long-term residents.

The PCT program consists of four components:  nursing assistant, advanced patient care, phlebotomy, and electrocardiography.

Graduates of the program will receive a diploma and are qualified to test in the following areas:  Nursing Assistant (State of Tennessee Certified), Phlebotomy (National Health Career Association Certified), Electrocardiography Technician (National Health Career Association Certified).

Enrollment and Class Schedule

Persons may apply any time.  Classes are held from 8:00 a.m. to 2:40 p.m., Monday through Friday subject to change as required.
Program Length:  8 Months
