          The Tennessee Technology Centers are the premier providers for workforce development. They provide state-of-the-art technical training for workers to obtain technical skills and professional training necessary for advancement. The Technology Centers are pleased to be a part of the Regents Online Degree Program by offering the following online diplomas and certificates:  Computer Operator Certificate,  Information Processing Technician Certificate, Computer Operation Diploma, Detail Drafter Certificate, Drafting and CAD Technician Certificate, CAD Technician Certificate, and Business Systems Technology Program. You are able to apply for admission and register online to the TTC of your choice.


          The Tennessee Technology Center at McMinnville opened in May 1966 and is one of twenty-seven such centers statewide authorized by legislation enacted by the 1964 Tennessee General Assembly.  The Tennessee Board of Regents governs the Center.   http://www.tbr.state.tn.us

          Programs are designed to prepare individuals for employment in the world of work, either by providing new skills or by developing previous skills.  They also make a significant contribution to the student's intellectual and social development. Efforts are made to update equipment and course content in order to provide educational experience necessary for an era of rapid technological change.  The Center is assisted in these efforts by institutional and craft advisory committees, comprised of community leaders and prospective employers of program graduates.  The administration and instructional staff consists of skilled and knowledgeable personnel who are competent in an occupational field, as well as being proficient instructors.

NURSE ENTRANCE TEST (NET)--Paper and Computerized NET are offered at the Center on most Fridays beginning at 8:00 am and usually lasts until noon.  The NET schedule and information about the test can be accessed by clicking the link above or to the left under NET test schedule and information.    
          Call (931) 473-5587 or (931) 474-8324 for more information.  A $30 non-refundable fee for computerized tests and $40 non-refundable fee for paper tests (cash, credit card, debit card, or money order)  must be paid before the test date.   The test takes about 2 1/2 hours on the computer and about 3 1/2 hours on paper to complete.  Results of the computerized test are immediate.  It will take up to 2 weeks to get the results of the paper test.  Passing of the NET Exam is a requirement for consideration for admission into the Medical Assistant, Surgical Technology, and Practical Nursing programs.
